A Camel, a Needle, a Rich-man; what do they all have in common? Is it impossible for a wealthy man to enter heaven? Is wealth just greed? This parable has been debated and interpreted in countless ways throughout the history of the church. What is Jesus really saying?
The answer lies in the response by Jesus… “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” The answer comes from “order coming out from chaos.” From out of what chaos can God bring order to in your life? Come this Sunday to learn and discuss.
“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:24-26
