Don’t Let your Love Grow Cold

A simple question: “Do you love Jesus the same, less, or more than you did on the day you first experienced his redemptive grace?”

Depending on how you answer will say much about one’s present spiritual walk. Many people may bashfully say either “the same” or “less”. If so, you are not alone. Many in the scriptures have faced the same difficulty. How do we grow in the revelation of God’s love for us? He tells us in both John 15 and also in Revelation 2. John states “Abide in my Love.” Revelation 2 gives a practical way to “Abide in His love”: Remember, Repent and Redo. Let us first remember: “You are not your own, you were bought with a price.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.”
