See you Sunday @ 10am! This week, as a culture, we embark in a Spirit of Thankfulness. Thanksgiving Day is a beautiful celebration of the good gifts, which have been given to us from our Father in Heaven. Ironically, the next day, is the dreaded “Black Friday.” A day of consumerism and want. Thursday into Friday is one the strangest cultural and spiritual transitions our society makes in a 24 hour window of time.
Thankfulness is more than a feeling, it is an attitude which brings the fullness of heaven to our lives and communities. To understand biblical principles of thanksgiving, this Sunday pastor David will teach on how the understanding of economics can teach us the ability to stay in a place of thanksgiving. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23.
