Fathers Day – The reality is many of us view our Heavenly Father through the lens of relationship we have with our earthly father. You may have a subtle misinterpretation of our heavenly Father based upon our human relationships. Do you view your Heavenly Father as domineering? Spiteful? Angry? Distant? Simply a provider who does not seek personal time with you?
Or, do you view Him as one who Loves unconditionally? One who desires time with you above all else?
This Sunday, let us come together and honor fathers and learn what it means to put off any carnal perceptions of what a Dad should be.
“Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.” Colossians 3:20-21
