Youth
Ministry

Our Youth Ministry is led by Pastor Ruhmon and his wife Kristi. We meet Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:15 in our multipurpose room. Your children will be provided with a safe environment where they enjoy a light meal, some active time playing both organized activities and time to build relationships.  Pastor Ruhmon also instructs the children in a Christ-Centered message pertinent to young adults.  All children are welcome between the ages of 12 and 18.

Men's
Breakfast

It is so important for men to gather together and learn from one another. The stresses of work and life can at times be daunting.  Once a month at 8:30 A.M., we meet to come together and learn from the Word, to have fellowship, and to live life together.  It is a great opportunity to grow deeper in the Lord, and to build relationship with others in the church.  Please see the church bulletin or Joe Kelly for more details.

Prayer
Night

On Wednesday night beginning at 7:00pm,  we open the church for prayer. Prayer is a highly misunderstood topic in the Church. Prayer is not just a recitation of one’s needs, prayer comes from the Hebrew word Teffilah meaning a divine connection or binding.

At our prayer night, we connect to the Father through worship and giving thanks too minister to the heart of the Father. We also intercede for the needs of people, the community and Bristol Hope Assembly.  Power to transform a life, a family, a community, comes through the furnace of Biblical Prayer.
For an amazing transformation of a community through prayer we recommend reading two books: Jim Cymbala’s Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire and Leonard Ravenhill’s Why Revival Tarries

Women's
Ministry

Our Women’s ministry meets the fourth Saturday of the month in the café of the church.  It is a time for woman to come together and learn from the Word, to have fellowship, and to live life together.  It is a great opportunity to grow deeper in the Lord, and to build relationship with others in the church.  Please see Milly, the church secretary, for further details.

Practicing Ministry
Night

The Practicing Ministry group is designed to propel Believers into active ministry. Here, you will be guided on the best ways to engage the Bristol Community in relational based ministry. We have learned the best way to connect to people is through LOVE. This can be through offering someone in the community a smile, a hello, a conversation. We learn that the best one to lead a conversation about Jesus is the Holy Spirit. You will be paired with another Brother or Sister and will head out into the streets of Bristol or a local nursing home. We engage people with the Love of Jesus and rely on the Holy Spirit to open doors to witness, to pray for healing and to give counsel. Testimonies of restoration, physical and spiritual healing all occur. BHA partners with Red Strawberry Ministries in a joint effort of spreading the Kingdom of God in a manner which takes pressure off of the Believer and relies on the peace and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Please see Red Strawberry Ministries & the powerful teachings and testimonies from Tim, Alan and Josh.

Clothing Closet

If you would like to donate clothing or are in need, the church clothing closet is open Wednesdays at the church between the hours of 11:30 and 5:00.  For assistance in food, BHA partners with the Bristol Boro Community Action group.  Please see their website for more information: http://givebucks.org/
