One of the most debilitating tools of the Enemy, is to cause a Spirit of Offense to grow inside of a Son or Daughter. It appears that the Spirit of Offense or the Spirit of the Victim is gaining root in our culture. It is a Spirit of someone who is self-obsessed, fragile, easily offended or unable to deal with opposing views. We must guard ourselves against this today more than ever. You are not a Victim, you are a Conqueror. Offense comes when one is not rooted in their true identity in Jesus Messiah. Come against the spirit of modern culture with the culture of heaven: You are an individual; you are bought with the currency of heaven, the blood of Jesus.
And the Disciples asked Jesus; “And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus responded, “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
