A shared purpose.
Welcome to Bristol Hope Assembly! We are a church in Bristol Borough which was founded in 1928 with a rich history of 90 years of empowering people in their relationship with Jesus and proclaiming the gospel. Here at BHA, we are followers of Jesus from various generations and ethnic backgrounds living in unified community with a shared purpose. We are more than a church, we are a family of Believers eagerly expecting the Kingdom of Heaven to be made manifest in our community.
We are passionate in cultivating our relationship and identity with the Full Godhead: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The BHA community believes that all Believers have a role in the Kingdom of God. It is a family where your gifts and talents are appreciated and we are eager for you to learn and for you to also impart your passions in our fellowship.
If you are looking for a church which believes in a family atmosphere, total submission to the Holy Spirit in both Worship and Life, the fullness of the Gospel, strong Biblical Teaching and a place where all believers are sons and daughters who have something special to offer the church and the world, then you have found a family.

David Greenockle, Lead Pastor
- David graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s of Art in Secondary Education in History and the Social Sciences. Upon graduation, David lived and studied in Jerusalem, Israel graduating with a Master’s Degree in Comparative Religion and Hebrew from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition to studies, David served with Believers sharing the Word with both Jews and Arabs in Israel. Upon returning from Israel, David was deeply involved in pioneering House Churches in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. David and his wife Michele desired to bring the family relationship found in House Churches to the people of Bristol, PA. He became the Associate Pastor at Bristol Hope Assembly in 2011.
In the summer of 2016, David became the Lead Pastor at BHA and received his ordination with the Assemblies of God. David desires to see the power of the Holy Spirit displayed in the lives of Believers. He teaches with a focus on bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth through the appropriate understanding of our Identity as children of God and through Practicing the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives daily.
