This Sunday’s Sermon: Lone Cowboys

America has a deep tradition of the romance of the Lone Cowboy. Strong, virtuous, independent-all classical American virtues. But, he at times is a man alone working isolated from his brothers. In modern times, many have become either willing or unwilling “cowboys.” They either have been pushed to isolation or have chosen isolation. This Sunday, when we celebrate being together at our church BBQ, let us look within and decide to come out of isolation and/or bring someone out of their isolation.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell in unity!” Psalms 133:1
