This week I am excited to have John Broglin share the word through a powerful and unique perspective taken from Mark 4:35-5:43.

In his Gospel, Mark has blended four events that point to a specific theme. The theme of these events is centered around the concepts of fear and faith. Mark helps us to understand when difficult situations arise, there is a Savior waiting to help us. We need only to trust.

The disciples are often “put on a pedestal”. We often forget that they were simple men who had their own fears and challenges. The power is Jesus never gave up on them and He will never give up on you. Let that propel you into FAITH.

“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”” Mark 4:39
