Pastor David begins our new sermon series on studying God—the Father. Many people take the character of the Father for granted. Studying the Son and the Spirit is a common focus in many churches, but who is the Father? Traditionally there are 72 names that the Father goes by: Yahweh, Elohim, El Elyon, El Shaddai are to name just a few.
He is also the God of the Desert and He desires a Desert People. Let us learn how the God of the Desert is looking for a people who are not of the city, but of the wilderness. To know the Father in deeper ways, we need to evaluate why He chose to reveal Himself to a people of the desert.
