“…God cares about your heart…” This message by Jose Diaz from Heart of David Philadelphia is both encouraging and sobering. Many of us secretly feel dull in our pursuit of God, harboring bitter feelings, angry thoughts, disappointments, and un-forgivness towards others, ourselves and God. You can’t live like this for long without it damaging your connection to God and other people. Jose says “You are responsible to tend your heart.” in The Sermon on The Mount, Jesus teaches that “The Pure in heart shall see God…” – Jose says: “we see God with our heart.” So Let’s break up the fallow ground and begin to practice 5 things that will help you to keep your heart tender towards God and other people.
