The word Bible simply means book. To the ancients, the Bible is more than a book; it a series of books of covenant(s).

In the modern world of convenience, and in a throw away culture of self-gratification, it is now more important than ever to understand COVENANT. Biblically, covenant is a binding agreement usually sealed with blood between two parties. It is more than a legal contract; it is motivation of the heart for deep relationship.

Pastor David this Sunday will begin a sermon series on Covenant. During the next several weeks, we as church, will study the importance of covenant for our lives today. By looking at the multiple covenants of the Bible, we will be able to better understand the relationship between God and Man. We will better understand our correct response to the Covenant of Love. You read more than a Book, you read a covenant.

“Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.” Exodus 24:7
