Psychologists and business leaders state that within five years “you will be an average of the five people you spend the most time with.” This raises the question to which tribe do you belong?” One needs to be both careful and purposeful with who you connect with. They will influence everything about you!

These lessons can be seen through the tribes of Israel. They were promised the Promised Land if they drove out the inhabitants. Some fulfilled the mission, other tribes took the easy way out and did not enter the best the Lord had for them. The tribe of Dan succumbed to weakness and chose idolatry. Manasseh, Gad and Reuben settled for a safe choice and did not enter the Promise.

This Sunday, Pastor David will teach on these principles. Don’t settle—choose the better way and reside with the tribe that is willing to ‘fight’ for the Promise.

“Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.” Joshua 1:6-7
